unfortunately u can only use packet tracer 5.3 or above with very limited simulation scope.

download the packettracer 5.3 and then download the attached file. after downloading, follow the simples instructions and u will be able to communicate between two different network via ip phones.

I got today Certificate of CVOICE 6.0 which i passed on 28th february but titiled as “CCNA Voice”. But CVOICE 6.0 should be “Cisco voice over IP”.

Is it ok that i got? If ok, when will i get the certificate titled “Cisco voice over IP”?

@baju: After passing the IIUC 640-460 or the CVoice 6.0 you will get the same “CCNA Voice” certificate.

Nee another information, Cvoice 6.0 changed now to Cvoice 8.0 which is also a part of CCNP voice.

anybody, who passed Cvoice 6.0, need to sit for Cvoice 8.0 again to complete CCNP voice?

This is all very confusing.
I was going to take CVoice 642-436 after I passed my CCNA, which I have but now it has all changed, what is its replacement, is it 642-437 and if so is the info in this site still valid?

If not anyone know were I can find any.

Hi Dave, As far as I understand Cisco exam 642-436 has been updated to 642-437 which is almost the same, but it has something more, you can find the syllabus on the offical website,

QoS has been added, and if I’m not wrong There’s nothing more concerning gatekeepers. You must be logged in, of course..

The book is still in rough version, it means is not official yet, it can change a while in these months. The official one will be available at the end of June, as they say. Personally I’m still studying with v6.0 official reference guide, I’ll cover new topics when they will be available… everything is still confuse, anyway

Didn’t do too well. Lot of QOS, wasn’t prepared enough for the amount of QOS. Going to try again soon after I read through some more QOS.

Mosy of available dumps are wrong on 642-437. even p4s also not reliable. exam got many quaestion with slight difference and different answers for each.

please check follow D&D:

I took the test last week and got 766, close of the 790 needed.

the questions from the dumps are mostly there (~70%), but there are many questions that are not correct.

SANESH:
1. You don’t need the sip command.
2. Yes it is correct(just google sip early offer diagram).

Just to give you some questions that are wrong(AT3.1):

27. A,C
48. A,C,D

My lowest percentage was on QoS so going over the material again and will give it a try next week again.

Other forums point out that getting 1000 points is not possible, high score from others is 825.

ie there is no command as “connetion-trunk” and “connection trunk answer-mode xxxxx” is also wrong.

correct answer should be

hi, I pass today with 801 score
I had not so many time to learn, so I mark the same questions like in pdf from Waqas
I had few additional question, but the was easy in my opinion and I’m 90% sure that I marked correct answers.
there was for example question about commed for excluding some IP range from dhcp service
there was question about DSP 011

so it seams that answers from pdf from Waqas are correct in 75%

I’m studying on Cvoice 6.0 Wallace book because I have only this version and I don’t want to buy the new one. Today I’ve found a good website about QoS that integrates quite well version 6.0 of this exam with vers. 8.0, it’s here

As far as I know, in order to attend the Cvoice exam, you need to get the CCNA-Voice first, then you can proceed with the Cvoice exam.. CCNa-Voice is pre-requisite for CCNP-Voice exams.. Please check the cosco web site..

so my understanding is you will not get the CCNA-Voice after you pass the Cvoice 8.0 exam. To be able to take the Cvoice 8.0, you need to pass the CCNA-Voice first as a pre-requisite

No need to take the ccna-voice exam first.. u can go for ccnp-voice directly without giving ccna-voice.. But for getting a ccnp-voice certificate.. u ll have to give ccna-voice afterward.. as its a prerequisite..

That “New Dump for CVOICE 8″ has so many wrong answers it’s ridiculous. Maybe it’s good for ??s though…

I have not taken exam but this dump is pretty much exactly the same as a recently purchased test-inside 642-437.

So…either there a lots of new questions, or the answers are wrong. I know there are a good amount of different answers between this version and test-inside.

by “this dump” I mean the latest one on examcollection
