Bit of a confusing question but I don’t agree that the answer is D on Q5, I think it should be C

    Official guide says
‘Access personal voice mail using CUPC: CUPC can retrieve and process voice
messages from a voice messaging server. There are several interconnected steps that
must be configured to support the feature in CUPC, as follows:
    1. Define the Mailstore: In CUPS, navigate to Application > Cisco Unified
Personal Communicator > Mailstore and select Add New. Configure a Name
and IP address for the voice messaging server, optionally modifying the port
and protocol as appropriate for the messaging server deployment. This particular
configuration allows the use of IMAP to retrieve voice messages.’

So you have to define the mailstore before you can use IMAP to retrieve messages.

Q-1: Which two options are features in Cisco Unified Presence?(Choose two)

    A. IP Phone Messenger —————> Service
    B. Native Presence ——————–> Feature
    C. BLF speed-dial ———————-> i am sure its not
    D. Enterprise Instant Messaging —> Feature
    E. BLF speed-dial pickup ————-> i am sure its not

    For me answer is B,D

correct me plz if i am wrong…!!!

Ah I got this. “Native Presence” is a feature of CUCM and not of CUP. See page 303-304 of the 640-481 book. You don’t need a CUPS server to have native presence in CUCM, its already there. All native presence does is monitors a DN, IP Phone, or users on-hook or off-hook status – no IM capability at all.

So by process of elimination answer to Q1 is A, D – and it even makes sense.

Q1 is definitely A & D but as MrX says, Q5 is not straightforward. The answer could probably be C AND D, but as they only ask you for one choice, I’d guess I’d go with C.

@Mr x, seems like the answer they’re looking for for this Q5 is D:

Cisco Unity creates a subscriber mailbox on the Microsoft Exchange server for use as its mailstore server for message storage.

When Cisco Unified Personal Communicator users want to listen to their voicemails, they use Cisco Unified Personal Communicator to retrieve them from the mailstore server through IMAP.
