Took and failed the 300-080 today and got a 827/1000. passing is 860. I have the EnsurePass bank, which was about 42 of the 70 questions. I also took an online Global Knowledge curriculum, which was great practical information, but didn’t teach to the test. This is the second time i have failed this one.

As a study note. Know the “utils dbreplication runtimestate” CLI command. This came up on 2 of the questions.

A couple of questions that weren’t on the bank:
Question read something like “Which troubleshooting tool is used to view dial plan analysis as it is happening?” Answers included: DNA, syslog output, and RTMT. i answered RTMT, but i can’t confirm that answer yet.

“A new VCS server is being added to an existing CUCM cluster. The user dials 555 followed by the extension when calling users on VCS. Which CUCM construct must be configured to fulfil this requirement? Answers: SIP Route Pattern, Local Route Group, SIP Dial Rules, Route Pattern, Translation Pattern. I answered SIP Dial Rules, but i don’t think that’s right.

Second one: For me is Route Pattern, because whe dialing 555xxx is necessary a route patten that point to a SIP trunk to VCS.

The EnsurePass dump I have has 157 questions.
Thank you for your explanations of the two questions. There was also a strange question that I can’t remember the specifics and I have been looking to see what it might be referring to. Basically it had a debug of accessories registering to a TP unit and the question was something like, “Refer to the debug from a C-Series TP unit. What is this debug output showing?” Answers: Camera registered to endpoint, Trackpad registered to endpoint, mic and speakers registered to endpoint. There was one more option I believe of the same sort. I cannot find any output debugs that look remotely similar. In the debug it shows all three or four of the answers word for word. like as one of the lines it says “Camera registered sucessfully to endpoint” and the answer choice is “Camera registered to endpoint”. Does anyone else remember this question that has taken this exam? i saw this both times i have taken it and still don’t understand what they are trying to ask. In fact, i don’t believe the C-Series TP unit is even sold anymore, lol.
