Hi there – i took the exam yesterday and got 1000/1000, I used VGN-79 and other exam simulations.

The labs were what we have at VGN, and around 2 drag and drop.

45 questions all in all

@CCIP expiring

If you have your Route like I do then you only need to take two tests to get your CCIP and then only two more to switch to your service provider NP. If you wait for it to expire you have to take two tests for your service provider NA and four for your NP. Logically four is less then six and thus worth it if your going to get your service provider NP.

hey dude just trying to get ahold of you. but ive been giettng alot of shit lately from sloth rex guys from dp i guess. i just want to make sure im being reasonable. you told me you want nothing offensive to religion on there and they keep grilling me just trying to get arouse out of me. so then they started putting their names god isnt real and omni first put typical blackperson i warned him then he changed it to blackperson. so after i wanred them about 3 times i just banned them. im sure your giettng aslot of shit about me and im sorry im not trying to be a problem im not banning these guys for anyother reasons then whats stated. im giettng alot of shit on this and would just like you to give me feedback on this thanks.

If anyone can share how he can know the right answer in chosen in the simlet questions .

Example : how can you know that the used queuing method on Class-Default is FIFO?

How can we know that the software queue used on interface serial S0/0 is CBWFQ?

is it enough to se the traffic classified to classes and Class-Default is configuring by command (Fair-Queue)?

How we can know that the traffic receiving the least amount of bandwidth when exiting interface S0/0 is FTP ?

@NY, if you pass the routing.. for me it’s better to proceed with CCIP.. CCIP will expire this coming October 2012, but you have to pass the BGP+MPLS before 27 of july otherwise you will not be a CCIP certified. once you have pass BGP+MPLS before july 27 then you can take your Qos exam before October 2012.

@Jack – deadline for CCNP set depends on your Route exam expiration – take Switch and TSHOOT in the valability period of your Route exam (3 years)

Passed today with 928. Drag and Drops and multiple choices are from VGN. Lab topologies are the same as VGN but ALL QUESTIONS WERE DIFFERENT! Study well and make sure you are ready for any questions that might be asked for the labs. the key points are knowing how to read the output of:
show policy-map
show class-map
show policy-map interface
and how to configure the same stuff if necessary.

multiple choice questions were all EXACTLY the same as VGN and Randolf.
only the Simulations were different in terms of questions I was asked for, but the typologies were still the same.
make sure you do your studies first and you are confident enough with configuring classes and policies and you should be all good!

One good example there is the question with the topology with WAN ppp link:

The shown answers are below (in sequence):
-LLQ
-Classification using nbar
-PPP Link fragmentation and interleaving
-class-based marking
-class-based RTP header compression

And my answer is:

bro both same answer but if u do in vce 2 nd incorrect but in your exam both same i mean both are correct. i marked different way in exam (not same as vce) i got 1000. dot worry there is no any order for this..

For the qos( 642-642) exam lab simulation questions, show running-config, configurations, copy running-config startup-config, show policy-map.. other than these commands, do we need to use any other commands to verify our configs or outputs.If so, please let me know.
