i just passed today with 894 . the dump from 72q Sahcryle is valid . something like 6 new questions and one drag&drop.

the dump with 72q is still valid, you can pass this exam with it, although there are a few new questions

There are questions in the dump about CM security and video. Neither one of these topics is included in the CIPT 2 v8 course. My question is, are these questions actually included on the 642-457 test or are they just in the dump erroneously? Anybody know?

I say D+E. B is mis-worded. If it said if the codecs are the same type but the sampling rate is different I could agree with B. E is true but there is a sentence in the courseware that says:
“Transcoder changes voice stream from high BW codec to low BW codec.” It still does the opposite too, it would have to in order to work.
Any thoughts?

thanks all, so anyone can tell is the dump still valid now? and there are 72 questions in this CIPT2 dump cause i saw more than 200 questions in CIPT1 dump, the less the better, but just want to be sure!

I just took the test today and passed. 60 questions. I’d say 75% of the questions were in the dump. None of the security questions or Tcl questions were in it.

@safari spend some time going through the old 642-456 exam as well; specifically focus on the question about Device Mobility and Extension Mobility.

Exam is bit tough as some around 10 to 12 are new…..

But if you understand the answer of sahcryl 72 question it is good for you rather then memorized every question….

I also hear from someone a modified form of this question which is

the minimum requirements for configuring SRST on a remote router.

Q3: How the dialed number reroute to Pstn when SAF is down ……..

Q4 : there is another question abt SAF which is totally relavent to question number 3 but in it you tell when dialed number reroue to pstn how it represent on pstn ( means there is senerio in which predot , prefix = + some thing like it given ) you chose the rite dialed number value pass towards PSTN.

Q5 : Which options is true about SAF …..

Yeah still a lot of good information in there. I found CIPT2 easier then CIPT1, which I jut barely passed today.

The old material is still valid, but in v8 there is SAF, so you need to learn SAF from the new material or search in google….

Passed CIPT-2 today … scored 910/1000 .. I used Cisco.ActualTest.642-457.v2011-04-06.by.Sahcryle.72q.vce. But had almost 20 new questions , but they were all very easy…

plan to give cipt 2 on 2nd november 2011, can any body share 3, 4 links.. .vce format so that can prepare for it at this short notice.

Passed CIPT2 v8 today with 954. I have used Cisco.ActualTest.642-457.v2011-04-06.by.Sahcryle.72q.vce dumps. Its valid , around 20 questions out of dumps , those questions are on SAF & SIP. Understand SAF . Then rest is easy to clear this paper.

It’s says that A,C and D. Okay A,C are OK, but why F? I think we need a call-preserve command, which is not included here in the answers? Cisco says:

for h323 if keepalive mechanism is set with gk/gw, it willl try to establish or fuses connection with the remote peer..so when u take out no h225 keepalive out timer …expect what happen???due to mgcp fall back to h323 or sip ..in this case it is h323 and the local network establishes connection with the local h323 dial peers when no keepalive mechanism is not implemented otherwise it tries to access to the remote peer IP with the Keepalive mechanism intact… hope this explanation makes u some sort of sense…. pls excuse me if my analysis/approach is wrong….

Done with this exam today with 88X… same dumps mentioned in the comments… Got new questions around 6-8. 2 questions about MRG, 2Questions about CAC, around 2-3 questions bandwidth calculations… i do remember a question about H323 gatekeeper cac…basically the question is about codecs…. in the config bandwidth default interzone is 64, and bandwidth interzone cluster B is 48… options were 1.)1 g711 call 2.) 1 g711 and 3 g729 calls 3.) 3 g729 calls 4.) calls unlimited to cluster B. I couldn’t figure out the right answer bcoz my calculations never ended matching the options… by default the gatekeeper requires twice of the codec bandwidth, the cluster B has limited to 48 kbps, so in my view only 1 g729 call is permitted but in options i do not see the 1 g729 call option… without L3 overhead the g729 has 16kbps/call and so it is closely matching 3 g729 calls so i choosen option 3, but i am 100% confident that the answer is wrong but i have no choice to choose from the options…. rest of them okay to answer…as usual cisco always comes with options that boggles our mind choosing the answer where the question is easy to comprehend…

why cRTP will be used for gatekeeper cac??? remember the hint cRTP is only used for bw <= 768kbps. i figure out the answer later after deep dive into the gatekeeper topic..and the answer is 1 g711 call and 3 g729 calls….its very simple..the bandwidth default interzone which means 1 g711 call, and the interzone cluster B has 48kpbs(3 calls @ 16kbps- since 8kbps/call and reserved bandwidth of additional 8kbps per each call )…. hope u got the clarification…

Hi Guys I have paased the exam just now at 11:00am. the dumps below is 100% help full. there are lot of new questions, but if you remember this dumps perfectly you will pass the exam well i got less marks than i expecte but Alhamdullah passe ( 1000/881). there is one drag and drop. But i can say go for this dump very keenly coz less questions are in the dump so don’t do any mistake. the questions are in same swquence in the exam as there is in the dump.
