Share your CIPT2 v8.0 Experience

Anybody have links to the cbt nuggets for this exam

Hey Guys,

I am planning to take the CIPT-2 exam in the next week.

I am relying solely on the ”Sahcryle 72q dumps’. I have seen in this forum that this dumps have been good enough for you to get through the exam. The last guy who passed the exam using this dumps was on 15th Feb 2012.

Unfortunately nobody has recently posted their experience about the exam & whether the ‘Sahcryle 72q dump’ is still good enough.

Please share your experience/comments if anybody has recently taken CIPT-2.

i passed the exam on 9th march

got 8XX, this 72 q dump is still valid, but there were almost 20 new questions. including the ones which are modified from the present dump.
need to read the questions care fully from dump and analyze each answer so that in case any thing is modiefied in exam can be figured out easily.
still i think dump was enough to pass the exam and till last question i though i m going to fail because of the change in questions.

P.S :- these dumps are enough to pass , read the questions and as well answers carefully

The answer should be 3 G.729 calls.
This is simple I guess. The interzone bandwidth would override the default bandwidth allocation, so 48kbps will be available. Now H323 GK always reserves double the BW of the actual codec. So for G.729 it will reserve 8*2=> 16kbps and for a G.711 it will require 64*2=> 128kbps (SEE the Note on the bottom of CIPT2 Cisco Press book on Pg. 277).
So GK will reserve 16kbps for G.729 calls hence it will permit three G.729 calls in 48kbps.

Other overhead of L2 and L3 etc is not used in the calculations of GK, so why worry about that..

Hi,
I passed the CIPT2 642-457 exam today with 881/1000 score. Above Sahcryle 72q is still valid. I got most of the questions from it. I got one drag and drop question asking for minimum config. for SRST. I don’t remember other questions but passing marks for this exam is only 720 so if you prepare well from above dumb, you should be able to pass easily.
Anyways, thanks to Voicetut and all its members for continuous support.
Now to TVoice 642-427.

Hi all, passed today with 920 using Cisco.ActualTest.642-457.v2012-03-19.by.Burn.72q.vce

The dump is good, but there are quite a few new questions.

- One to do with characteristics of SAF:

A) All routers need to be EIGRP, even non-saf
B) Only SAF routers need EIGRP, other routers act as IP cloud

I chose B.

- Question on interzone bandwidth on gateways and how many calls are allowed so make sure you know that.

- Question about Emergency calls with extension mobility, which gateway it breaks out.

I chose call will be allowed out UK gateway.

- Drag and drop on minimum configuration of SRST. Gives 4 squares to be filled but question says that not all 4 should be used. I chose:

call-manager-fallback
ip source add…….
max ephones

Don’t know if thats correct

- Question the same as Q12 except it asks about the CALLED number being translated to extension. I chose significant digits option

- Question very similar to Q28 where it asks you to choose between the same options. I didn’t realise it was a different question and chose IOS enhanced without reading, so look carefully.

- Question the same as Q29 except it asks how SAF would advertise block 2 and type of number etc.

- Question similar to Q32 which asks what type of connection you would use between US cluster and remote cluster on the right. I chose inter cluster trunk.

There were others that I can’t remember right now, but the pass mark is very low (720), so learn this dump and know the material and you will pass fine.

i passed my exam on last thursday with 960. since CBT is not avaiable for CIPT2 V8. i used below for exam preparation.

CIPT2 Book (Chapter 12 for SAF & CCD)
CBT NUGGETS 642-456 CIPT2 V6
Cisco.ActualTest.642-457.v2012-03-19.by.Burn.72q.vce

There were few new questions but if your are well prepared so you will be able to answer.
There were 3 tricky questions “Using Same Topology & Options but there were 2 different questions” so for those tricky questions 1 is there in dump and other is coming from outside. Ex: there is 1 question in dump showing MTP config and asking what to configure in CUCM, in exam there was 1 more question showing Trans Config and asking same.

Q2 – fastest way to test SRST.
Answer: C (adding null route)

Q3 – 1 Drag & Drop for minimun commands for SRST, not using all options
there was option to select 4 but i selected only 3

plz read chapter 12 from CIPT2 book and watch CIPT2 642-456 CBT. you will be able to pass the exam & please read question in exam bcoz of dublicate outside question.

I think B. is the right answer. – see CIPT2 p.386 – "The only way to advertise a pattern with + is to use the pattern tag type global command instead of the pattern tag type extension command."

is passing score 720?

cleared cipt2 ystrday…9XX…”Burn” dump still valid…got about 5 to 6 questions out of d dump…but as the passing score is 720…one can clear it easily…

out of new questions i recall, there was one regarding moh on srst router…

1)
moh source 1….provides moh to phones ranging 1000 to 1999
moh source 2….provides moh to phones ranging 3000 to 3500

phone 1 with number 1324 places phone 2 with number 3333 on hold..which moh stream will phone2 get????

total questions 60, passing score is 720….
carefully study all d questions n answers in d dump….b through wid d concepts n one can easiliy pass…
