this would be my reasoning: 1 partition for local and service numbers + 1 for LD&INT + 1 for PSTN + Premium + 1 for Executives + 1 for the all other employees = 5

@kita, you’re right thanks for the answer, I found this article:
When you configure multiple destination addresses, be aware of the following information:
#
•When an outbound call gets placed, a destination address gets chosen randomly. No preference is given to one destination address over another. All SIP messages that are sent out for a given outbound call go to the same destination address.
@ TZ & Kita & Aerodesliza
why it is not 7
as i found you can create the 7 partitions
QUESTION 96
What is the minimum number of partitions that must be defined given the dial-plan rules listed below?
local
service numbers.
long-distance
international numbers.
PSTN numbers
premium numbers.
call executives.
what mean by this part ??? which under
– Incoming calls can only be routed to phones, not to trunks.

Another difficult question:
why E is not the answer?
When route filter is apply (with Route this pattern option) permit to be route the clauses define so why is D?
A single route pattern has been added to Cisco Unified Communications Manager to use the NANP. A route filter named Local_Only has been applied to limit calls to local and service numbers only. The Local_Only route filter includes the clause:
(LOCAL-AREA-CODE EXISTS AND SERVICE EXISTS). After applying the Local_Only route filter, no calls to the PSTN can be completed.
What needs to be done to correct this issue?
A. Two separate route filters need to be applied to the route pattern, one for local calls and one for services.
B. The route filter clause should be changed to (LOCAL-AREA-CODE DOES-NOT-EXIST AND SERVICES DOES-NOT-EXIST) and the route pattern should be set to block calls.
C. Route filters cannot be used to allow multiple call types. Specific route patterns for local calls and services need to be added.
D. The route pattern needs to be added twice, once with a route filter for local calls and once with a route filter for services.
E. The route filter clause should be changed to (LOCAL-AREA-CODE EXISTS OR SERVICES EXISTS).

@Network Engineer, you’re not right, first of all for example you don’t need two separate partition for Local and Service number calls because all employes have access… TZ explain this question right.

Answer:B,D
Why option D is a answer? Media resources not always terminate audio stream, for example Phone using codec G.711u call Phone B using codec G.711u, it will not needs media resources….
Which two of these describe how media resources and audio streams operate with Cisco Unified
Communications Manager? (Choose two.)
A.Audio streams are terminated differently depending on the signaling protocol, such as SCCP or SIP.
B.All media resources register with Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
C.Signaling between Cisco Unified Communications Manager and hardware media resources uses the same protocol as the call-signaling type
D.Audio streams are always terminated by media resources.
E.There are no situations in which IP phone-to-IP phone audio streams will go directly between endpoints.

Answer: B,
Why not E??? If MRGL is reset I believe that resources should be out of service so the SW CFB3 (no MRG) it should be the only resource available.
Refer to the exhibit. Which conference resource is conference 2 using assuming the MRGL has just been reset and all six conferences have become active?

well imho this is one examples of very poorly designed questions by cisco if indeed this is the original wording and not some poorly written down dump question
lets say the question implicitly assumes that media resources are being involved in the call flow – in that case B is correct
but in that case both D and E are correct too, i.e. if media streams are always terminated by media resources this is the same as saying that no IP phone to IP phone streams go between endpoints – you can’t have one without the other

the media resources involved in the call. There is no direct IP phone–to–IP phone audio
stream with media resources involved in the call flow.”

Answer: D……….. Why answer is option D? I believe some information have to be missing. At the exhibits is only show:
the BR1_External CSS:

I believe the answer should be F or E because match with the second CSS containt into the BR1_External CSS.
Please study the exhibit carefully. Abc.com uses 4-digit extensions. To call between sites, they dial the intersite access code ’8′ followed by the 3-digit site code and 4-digit extension of the phone they are trying to reach. Phone_A is in Partition Branch1 with a CSS named BR1_External. If a user dials 85014532 from Phone_A, which element of the route plan will be matched? Exhibit:
A.Route Pattern 8501! in the partition gateway
B.the phone with extension 4532 in Partition Branch1
C.the phone with extension 4532 among the partition phones

Hi all, just passed my exam 1 hour ago with score 9xx, wanna share my experience as there are a lot of comments that 60% of the exam wasn’t from JACK dump, well for my case 100% of the exam was from the dump, not a single strange question, one more note, regarding the conference bridge questions in the dump, i believe there are solved wrong in the dump, so i solved with my logic in the exam (3 questions came related to the conference bridge), but i noticed from the exam result summary that the media resources is the least topic i scored in the exam, good luck to all, thanks JACK
I passed today ‘Jack ‘ all valid, i had only one drag and drop

hi, anyone know the ans to this D&D?
Left
application user id password
security id password
administrator id password
Right
cli access
cisco unified callmanager administration access
database access
Hi Voice,
Think this should be
Application user id password = cisco unified callmanager administration access
security id password = database access
administrator id password = cli access
hi everybody!! i passed with flying colourssssssss!! jack dump is 100% valid 🙂
Taking the exam tomorrow – (US) – I have a dump that contains 22 Drag and drops, how many Drag & Drops have you seen on the exam?>
@Gerry its quite a tricky D&D…This is how I’d answer this question
Application user id password = cisco unified callmanager administration access
security id password = cli access
administrator id password =database access
@Voice, please advise on how you did this question (if you got it in the exam)

@Paulina

To all, jack dump itself is more than enough to pass with flying colours 🙂 not sure y did JC fail 🙁 if u used jack dump ^^
I didn’t use JACK dump 😉 – I used the ZOD dump – my mistake…
pls update if any one has taken this exam recently as i am going to take this exam next week.
Jack’s dump is more than enough, I got 965 3 days ago and I didn’t find any new question…
at Question 100 and Question 107
which one is the right answer 🙁
why in 100 it doesn’t choose the mulitcast address
and in the 107 choose it 🙁
I got one ebook for cipt 1, but its password protected, kindly share password if u have.

Dumb valid 100% passed today 9XX , no single question out , only one drag and drop inside the dumb
Passed the exam on 17th Nov… JACK dump is 100% valid. Got 70 questions in the exam and all the questions were from JACK’s dump. Scored 976 Marks….
People who are planning to take the exam I would recommend to take the exam by studying JACK dump before cisco changes 🙂
All the very best to each one you!!!!!!
For those that DON’T know how to use google – http://www.examcollection.com/cisco/Cisco.Lead2Pass.642-447.v2012-09-03.by.JACK.293q.vce.file.html
Passed today with JACK’s dump. Got an 895. 1 drag and drop question which was the same one I got last time ( the D&D talking about configuring a fractional E1 on controller 0/0/0). some of the questions were shuffled around…One question was asking about a software based MTP instead of software based conferencing…
With the JACK dump, which of the 3 exams should i focus on in the dump?
Passed the exam on 25th Nov… JACK dump is 100% valid. Got 70 questions in the exam and all the questions were from JACK’s dump. Scored 8XX Marks.
please take the exam seriously because all the question’s answer is not numbered like the dump .
