To MANOJ, because it is round-robin to use the resource in same resource group. different has different priority. in same group, the resource are used in round-robin.

dont use the kevin dump. Ive found at least 5 incorrect answers in it. Also, the drag and drops dont work. There’s also no explanations or verification that the answers are correct, like there was in capt america or the other dumps. Use actual.test!!!!

DD why reinvent the wheel? We already have dumps with working drag and drops, and explanations. What someone NEEDS to do is remove the cucm 6.0 questions (exam only covers cucm 8.0) and the CIPT2 questions. THAT would greatly reduce the questions in dumps. It seems we are going backwards as people are creating new dumps with invalid answers and no explanations.

Can anybody guide me to where can I download the study material for the CIPT1 V8.0, any books, student guides or refrence guides ?!

Passed Today with 895 :).Both 226 and Dark Musician are still valid.

So many different answers from one vce to the other. CaptainAmerica looks the cleanest and most concise. Not sure which one to use. 226Q+Dark Musician 95Q the answers are different. I think Captain America VCE is best.

Test has drastically changed. Only 40% came from dumps. Passable if you know the material. I had about 40 new never seen before questions. Most material came from CIPT1 Foundation Learning Guide. If you know it you can still pass.

Passed yesterday with 9XX.. Too many new questions not on the dump, though some are understandable and are just rephrased questions. Posted here the best i could remember, I maybe wrong on some answers, your opinion is highly appreciated!

I also had a question in regards to Maximum TFTP connections. Can’t remember the question fully but make sure you know this (below is from the 8.x SRND)
The Maximum Serving Count service
parameter, which can be configured, specifies the maximum number of requests that can be concurrently
handled by the TFTP server. (Default value = 500 requests.) Use the default value if the TFTP service
is run along with other Cisco CallManager services on the same server. For a dedicated TFTP server,
use the following suggested values for the Maximum Serving Count: 1500 for a single-processor system
or 3000 for a dual-processor system.

If you look at SamweezY and my (TVoice) comments from last week those will be the newest questions. they changed at the beginning of august.

my suggestion go through the subjects i suggested in the book CIPT1 and make sure to focus on media resources (if you don’t know them).

also the resources within a media group are used round robin – not top down ***THIS IS IMPORTANT AS SOME PRACTICE TESTS ARE WRONG***

example:

MRG-1 (Media Resource Group)
HW-CFB-1(2 conf)
SW-CFB-1(2 conf)

what resource does Conf 2 use

answer: SW-CFB-1
call 1 uses HW-CFB-1
call 2 uses SW-CFB-1
call 3 uses HW-CFB-1
call 4 uses SW-CFB-1

The question/answer you mentioned is incorrect.

As per CIPT1, you cannot add different type of media resources in one MRG.. it should have been MRGL which should contain 2 MRGs (one with HW resources and other with SW resources).. NOW load balancing can be done b/w similar type of media resources…

Reason: HW resources can support more codecs and other features which SW resources cant… so if in case conf2 uses G.729 and need HW resource then according to you it would be redirected to SW-CFB-1 which cannot entertain the request… BUT in real scenario HW resources get exhausted first then they come to SW resources…

I believe that when you choose multiple destination ip addresses in the SIP trunk configuration CUCM uses random distribution to configured destinations when placing a call over SIP trunk.
With DNS on the other hand you can configure weights and host prioritization when creating SRV records on the DSN server, which can be used to prioritize a destination when placing a call over a SIP trunk.
