is the ciptv2 exam have simulation questions ?
CoLe
October 27th, 2015
@Anon: No
@All:
Scenario:
There are two call control systems in this item.
The Cisco UCM is controlling the DX650, the Cisco Jabber for Windows Client, and the 9971 Video IP Phone.
The Cisco VCS is controlling the SX20, the Cisco TelePresence MCU, and the Cisco Jabber TelePresence for Windows.
A new DX650 IP phone with MAC address D0C7.8914.132D, IP address is 172.18.32.119 has been added to the Cisco Unified Communications Manager, but is not registering properly. What is causing this failure?
Right answer should be: The DX650’s MAC address is incorrect in the Cisco UCM.
Reason: The DX650 configuration shows D0C7.8914.131D.
Answers to the question:
A. Device Pool cannot be default
B. The DX650 is in the incorrect calling search space
C. The DX650 Phones do not support SIP
D. The location Hub_None has not been activated
E. The DX650’s MAC address is incorrect in CUCM
Each DP has the same CM group. So it wouldn’t matter what Pool you put the phone in it’s going to register to the same CM first.
Incorrect CSS would have nothing to do with registration that is for call flow / control
DX650 support SIP and is in the product documentation for this model of phone.
Hub_None is the default location on CM installations and is activated by default. It also has nothing to do with registration. Location is used for bandwidth manipulation for calls between sites.
Incorrect MAC address in the CM database is the only thing left and anyone with experience can tell you this is common when manually installing a phone in CM.
@Anonnano: Thank you …at least one useful comment.
In my case: all the different questions with this scenario are very annoying. ^^

Q67: The intercluster URI call routing no longer allows calls between sites. What is the reason why this would happen?
A. Wrong SIP domain configured.

Q63
The device pool is necessary for SRST. You have to specifically list your VG in those settings within the DP. There is no way to tell what is set in the DP, because you only are given a name.
The CUCM is pointing to the correct interface of BR2 router. The only other interface is the sub interface going to the WAN.
All Cisco VGs support SRST and come with complimentary free 25 licenses for SRST mode. If it doesn’t have SRST abilities you won’t get past cm fall back command.
The SRST configurations is missing many optional settings, but the one configuration that is necassary is what source port to be used. Normally the configuration looks like – source ip address 1.1.1.1 port 2000.
Port 2000 is also given in the SRST BR2 configurations image.

@kike
For TelePresence endpoint calls, they mark their traffic as CS4 (DSCP value 32) = 100000. Refer to this link under Table 5-1. And this should be the correct value for DSCP for TelePresence.
But on the choices there is no 32 (100000). I think there’s a missing letter of choice for the selection of answer on that item.
I hope this helps.

Kike,
BD is correct. When you have TEHO, calls are not always made out of the local gateway.
So if 911 is called you want to make sure youre calling the 911 that is local to where the call is being made, or else the fire truck will show up in the wrong city. Same goes with caller id, you want to make sure youre caller id reflects your correct location not the location of the local gateway.

Hi Guys…
i have presented the exam today and i approve…
only for information… the questions classified like scenario have 3 questions in 1…
for example
the questions in our dump 114q 65-66-67 have the same scenario and are 3 questions… but in the exam is only one question with 3 diferents items… then our 114q are not really 114q are 105…
thks a everybody for your apports…
Guys… pls chk
Q90
what is the answer correct B,D or A,C
i dont understand why is B,D?
rgds //
Kike,
BD is correct. When you have TEHO, calls are not always made out of the local gateway.
So if 911 is called you want to make sure youre calling the 911 that is local to where the call is being made, or else the fire truck will show up in the wrong city. Same goes with caller id, you want to make sure youre caller id reflects your correct location not the location of the local gateway.
passed 300-075 today.. score 9xx.. Wanted to say thanks to all of you for your help.
