Thanks for setting up this page, the strange thing about this new exams is that there is even no official materials out yet and the last day for the current exam will be 28 of this month.

It is odd. Can anyone shed any light on this re study materials etc?

I saw that the book will publish in aug for this exam,so how can we study for this exam.i have seen new exam questions,there is so much new stuff to study.i wish i had given the old exam.

AHHHHHH!!! NO p4S, only SIXTY exam q’s so far? No way. I have a good bit of voice background but no enterprise experience which is exactly what this test entails. I *have* to take for my job in the next month, and 9tut helped me pass ccna first time no problems.

Took the exam yesterday and passed. Used rough cuts, blue print and job experience. Passed with a 906. Really basic exam, geared to administration.

As stated in my post:
I used the rough cuts, available on Safari Online. Used the exam blueprint, available on Cisco.com. I pretty much followed the blueprint and reviewed like crazy. Make sure you understand Unity and Unified Communications as a whole. This exam is more big picture than in the weeds.

I have been looking to prepare for CCNA Voice ICOMM since both the previous exams have been scrapped. I was looking on the Cisco website but cannot find any specifications for study material.

Anyone can please help, if there is any book available that we can study for the exam.

you can subscribe to safari online book store and search any “rough cuts”. You will find all of those new CCNP Voice books. If you don’t like it, you can cancel your subscription in 10 days.

to all: you can subscribe for FREE first 10 days then it’s 20 bucks give or take a month, look for material published by jeremy ciaora, a noted ccie who does a lot of voice nuggets, I’m taking mine next week, i’ll let you know how it goes.

Hello to all.. Does anybody here have taken the exam ? Please share the experience, or maybe the resources. I’ll plan take this exam as soon as possible. I found this one from the Cisco learning material website, from Jeremy post.

The new ICOMM (CCNA-Voice) course covers the following:
* Unified Communications Manager Express v.8
* Unity Express v.8
* Unified Communications Manager v.8
* Unity Connection v.8
* Unified Presence Server v.8
The UC500 series is no longer included in the course.

In the meantime, I would recommend that you review the Admin guides for the applications listed, and perhaps some of the Feature Guides as well. Alternately, if you have access to the courseware for the CIPT 1 and 2 or the CVOICE classes, they would be beneficial. The previous edition of the CCNA Voice Exam Certification Guide will be an excellent resource (though possibly more detail than needed) for the CME/CUE products.
None of the material in ICOMM is covered in great detail (as you might expect given the time frame for delivery), but the basic concepts and configuration are there for each product.

IF you want to read any “rough cuts” the fee goes $44/month. Almost all of CCNP voice books are published as those rough cuts. You cannot download the books yet but can print out, one page at a time.. if you want.

Hello to all, thx Blue Guyz for info. This information for Multiple choice, testlet, and D&D. But what labs will be ? who knows?

Have the PDF from the ROUGH CUTS edition, no where near finished and is missing ALOT of information, would not advise trying to get it until its finished.

I mean chapters are missing still and yea its rough..

the new book is 600 page while the last one was 500 ,i hope there is any way to get the new offical guide for free.

I think we havw to wait some time, may be some one will put it on free server
i will start CVOICE book and after see the changes but in some places i heard that

it is 80% it will be different, but i think it is imposible

the new ccna voice offical guide is 287 pages only..

@deadred, pls which material did you use in preparing for this exam. and did u confirm the validity of the dumbs from anybody……..All the best in your exam. pls do give us a feedback after the exam.

I just got back and the testing materials form Reina are correct the test is word for word with the exemption of the question I asked about there was another answer CSFUPC I dont know the answer but I think it is C it is the only one that makes any sense. BTW I got a 983 as for the score. There is test on examcollection as i mentioned look under full listing and it is there.

thanks everyone There were 60 questions and I no lab only one drag and drop. All relevant information in fact every question was on the link mentioned before. I finished the exam in under 20 mins and other than reviewing the info I all ready know this info.

you must be a ccna (switching and routing) certified so you can apply for ccna voice

Its means without CCNA 640-802 we cant enrolled in ccna voice 640-461.
i am not ccna certified want to enrolled in CCNA VOICE is there any way to enrolled in CCNA VOICE certification without CCNA 640-802.

no there is not ,but u can start preparing for ccna ,just study the pass4sure and review the lab question on this site they are amazing i did it and and i got the same lab questions(vtp,eigrp,access list) and u will pass it.

@descentpk : am sorry the answer is no. Months ago, ccent was the only requirement for ccna (voice).But with the whole Cisco upgrading, you need a ccna (routing and switch) to attempt ccna (voice).

Is the actualTests and file updated by Reina are same exam questions? i downloaded the exam from examcollection site but the .vce file open with only trial version and displays only 5 questions. Am i doing anything wrong or do i need to download something else to open .vce files? can someone shed some light? thanks

iam talking about the ccna voice offical guide 2nd edition(rough cuts) i bought that book from safarionlinebooks ,but there is 6 chapters under development,so that right, its unfinished ,i advise u to read that book even though it is uncomplete,coz u cant read any older books there is 80% change in the materials

i wish i could upload the book ,but there is a water mark on every page of the book,and that would violate the terms of use ,if u need the book so urgent u can buy it or wait until some one do something about the book,regarding the exam u can study the 60 questions ,they will be the same,and the new 10 questions u can find them until now on any site,but its ok u can pass without them,wish you luck all

the 10 questions are not on any site tell now,but man believe u can pass without them u only need 783/1000 to pass.

well depends on your luck, you can get anywhere from 60-70 questions. I think it’s best to read the rough cut and these 60 questions.

guys am back, i passed with a score of 983. all the 60 questions came out and i got 10 new question. the are easy to deal with. i also got 2 drag and drop simulation. good luck guys.

The drag and drop question was SIP/MGCP/SCCP/H323 and their descriptions.

@happiman, yes the drag and drop were about SIP/MGCP/SCCP/H323 and their descriptions. and also got question about Qos came out…….i will keep updating you as soon as i remember anything. but with the 60 question you are good enough to pass the exam.

There were many QoS related questions; such as

difference between in IntServ, DiffServ
difference between data, voice and video (greedy, delay sensitive, drop insensitive…)
Which device is needed to create a link between H323 and SIP (C UBE)
