Hi guys,
I passed today the exam with 953!
Dumps are still valid, I had 60 questions from dumps + 10 more questions regarding QoS (intserv e diffserv) and authentication (number of attempt before thy account is blocked) and other regarding configuration issues and voice and data.
2 D&D, one from the dumps and the other was the definition of SIP, H.323, SCCP e MGCP, very easy.
I think that I missed some new questions but don’t worry, even 60 correct answers is enough to pass the exam (passing score is 783).
My suggestion is to memorize dumps and take the exam as soon as possible, don’t waste your time on this exam…

I have a question for CCNP voice do we need 640-461 and then 642-437, or just one of them.

Are there any simulations in ICOMM 8.0?

You need to do both. 640-461 is a prereq for ccnp voice. There are no simulations in ICOMM 8.

I want to move to CCNP voice, why don’t you start with CVoice 642-437 exam and then CIPT1?
I’ve read that the correct sequence starts from it and then goes to CIPT 1 and 2 and the others.
Obviusly you can start with whatever exam you want, but i think that the aformentioned order is better, what do you think?

becuase CIPT1 is very closely related to 640-461. Also no cisco hardware is required. Only thing required is CUCM and vmware.

i passed and scored 906 today. Total 70 questions, the dumps are still valid plus 10 new questions. The new questions contains:

1. what’s 3 characteristics of voice
2. what two fields are contained in QoS report?
3. D&D regarding H.323, SIP, SCCP, MGCP

I had the same question and later ones again that question with this choises, but they usked for something another (sorry, I don’t remeber exacly, but maybe that was something about problems with incoming calls from SP)

@FranCisco…I guess they are both easy. No point in me changing now as I am going to write my CIPT1 this thursday. I’ll do CVOICE after that 😉

according to some of this forum users (predo), given answers for the questions in Voice Fundamentals, Cisco Unified Presence are incorrect. Can someone tell me what are the correct answers for them? Are predo’s answers correct???

Did it today. Got 930. Follow this forum and http://www.examcollection.com/cisco/Cisco.TestKing.640-461.v2011-05-19.164q.vce.file.html. Use Exam A in .vce file. All the answers are correct even D&D. D&D and some of the answers given in this site is incorrect. I got 70 questions and pass mark was 783. All the 60 questions are there. Apart from that there were 10 new ones. Some of them are mentioned above by Brog. No hesitation…. go and just do your exam!!! All the best!

Hello @Paackable – As per my understanding you can refer any of the dumps available here. At the same time do correct all dumps with the correct answers given by @Andrean with only one correction use Q # 21 instead of Q # 24.

Better you refer @CQ and @Teleport comments in the previous page.All the very best for you preparation and exam

Need clarification on the following question:

Which network component would cause variable network delay?
A. dejitter buffer
B. DSP delay
C. processing delay
D. serialization delay
E. propagation delay

The answer is C. processing delay.
Serialization and propagation delays are fixed delay. As it is depends on buffer capacity and the BW of the link repectively and those will be constant other wise we change the Network element abd upgrade the speed of the link

Phone is getting wrong IP address. It just keeps reseting. What is the problem. I marked that the DHCP server is giving out false IP addresses but another good choice is the phone is on the wrong Voice Vlan. Not sure if I got this correct.

Only one drag and drop about troubleshooting. Also, no sims.

İf anyone has at least one of these, please kindly post the download links, and we’ll be greateful because, in my opinion, only memorizing the dumps won’t be enough..

I am just saying the product is available as of last week for order through their website, no other company has training videos or book out yet for 640-461 otherwise.

Actually there is a rough cut available from Safari books. I am reading it right now and 150 pages into the book it is actually really good. It’s about 40 bucks.

Remember characteristics of voice, data and video, it will help you score 2-3 additional questions.

@ANT, yes you can still view the old videos, they will help. I can recommend the new trainsignal ccna voice training package too, just recently released.

accepted states of forwarding calls

ip phone call over a wan, where do you start troubleshooting the issue

know characteristics of voice, video, data (greedy, benign, drop tolerant, etc)

voice protocols (mgcp, sip, sccp, h323) (drag and drop sim)

how many unsuccessful login attempts to vm before locked out?

Hi every body i wrote the exam yeterday passed with 965. These dumps are valid section A and more 10 questions different i selected answers from exam A of 164 Q testking.I just remember 5 of them.

cups and ldap integration
what is calling search space.
what happens if users are deleted from cucm.
phone a is not communicating with phone b at a different site where will u start the trouble shooting

couldn’t update till now. I just followed the p4s 60q pdf dump to pass this exam. Few answers need to be altered. I also used a rough version of ICOMM_VOL_1&2 uploaded by someone to clarify some answers. I am just modifying the pdf and also adding some additional questions to it. I will upload both files on 4shared.
I am totally new to Voice/VoIP field. Still I could pass it. Do it now… Just go 4 it…

I find somebody said 70 questions. But some guys said just have 60 questions.
