I’m new to the voice track so I thought it would be best to follow the lab instructions for CBT Nuggets 640-460. I got my self a 2650xm with 4.0.0.1 CME as well as a 1760 routers. on the switch side I got a 3524-poe-xl switch and a 3548-xl. I copied the lab instructions word by word, however for whatever reason the phones aren’t able to get an IP nor to get a binding with a dhcp server. below is the show run for all the parts of this lab:

It is an easy test.
I used the study material I mentioned. All of the questions are derived from the material. It’s good that you would rather spend your 250 on other tests but you need this one to get your CCNP and this test is measly.

Manager Presence Characteristic;
• Natively supported by Cisco Unified Communications Manager:

Answer was D. Change max length of messages to 90 seconds to free voicemail ports.

Hello Freinds i want to study to CCNA voice 640-461 but as you can see there is no materials after a lot of searches and comparisson i have conluded that if you study the old CCNA voice 640-460+ CCVP CIPT 1 642-446 it’s enough for you can pass the new CCNA voice cause it mixed CME and CUCM so i think u need to read the official guides + CBTs of CBT nugget and you will be OK . please you could write any criticizm !

something related to Robbed bit signaling, on the sixth frame, the eighth bit is stolen from the voice devices to transmit signaling info so this process occurs every sixth frame after this 12th 18th 24th and so on…

I’m new to the voice track so I thought it would be best to follow the lab instructions for CBT Nuggets 640-460. I got my self a 2650xm with 4.0.0.1 CME as well as a 1760 routers. on the switch side I got a 3524-poe-xl switch and a 3548-xl. Manager Presence Characteristic;
• Natively supported by Cisco Unified Communications Manager:
Support for SCCP lines, SIP lines, and SIP trunks
• Allows a watcher to monitor the real-time status of a directory number.
• Watcher subscribes to status information of the presence entity.
Watcher can show the status ofa presence entity using:
Presence-enabled speed dials
Presence-enabled lists (calland directory lists).
• Three possible states of watched directory number:
Entity is unregistered
Entity is registered—on hook
Entity is registered—off hook
Presence is natively supported bv Cisco Unified Communications Manager, and no extra
products or servers are required.
It allows an interested party, the watcher or subscriber, to monitor in real-time status of a directorv number or any presence entity.
A watcher subscribes to the status information of one or more presence entities. The status
information of a presence entity can be viewed using presence-enabled speed dials or presence enabled lists call lists such as placed, received, or missed calls and public directory lists.
The status can he one of the following:
• Unknown: This status is shown when the watched device is unregistered.
• On hook
• Off hook

2. CSS does not have the voicemail port under the partition
3. CSS does not have the voicemail pilot under the partition
4. dont remember it.

Answer was D. Change max length of messages to 90 seconds to free voicemail ports.
Passed exam as well… Few questions outside the site as well. Sleepy now will write again.

Hello Freinds i want to study to CCNA voice 640-461 but as you can see there is no materials after a lot of searches and comparisson i have conluded that if you study the old CCNA voice 640-460+ CCVP CIPT 1 642-446 it’s enough for you can pass the new CCNA voice cause it mixed CME and CUCM so i think u need to read the official guides + CBTs of CBT nugget and you will be OK . please you could write any criticizm !

something related to Robbed bit signaling, on the sixth frame, the eighth bit is stolen from the voice devices to transmit signaling info so this process occurs every sixth frame after this 12th 18th 24th and so on…
