I am sitting the exam on Friday. Does anyone have any advice?

I have just passed CIPT1. You should use Actual Test 164q, and here are some new questions:

1. Dial plan design – what need to be prepared when designing a dial plan for TEHO
Answer. Answer is very long and complicated
2. Tcl debugging, command and the steps
Answer. “Debug voice application”
3. TEHO, about the route pattern.
Answer. A few questions on it based on scenario.
4. Multisite with gatekeeper bandwidth management, eg, total traffic is 256k, then to single site is
128k, what command need to be used…
Answer. A. bandwidth total 256
B. bandwidth remote 128
5. What are there goals of subscriber?
Answer. A. Place the data to CDR
B. Provides call processing
C. read only database
6. What happens when the TFTP server is not available?
A. CUCM can’t read phone configs
B. Phones can’t download configuration

7. At the very minimum which settings should be set on a Cisco ip phone that is placed in a public

13. I checked some practice questions where there was a Drag and drop? they give the options:

Oh and AT got it them the otherway round. i.e.

Parties on the call can hear a tone and brief interruption on the call
cBARGE:

Agreed those shouldn’t be answers but which one is the answer they are looking for?
14. about option 150?
Answer. Phones can’t download configuration
15. Doctor Nurse Admin and about presence group and what we have to create (like this)?
Answer. Nurse Doctor Admin.
16. Which statement regarding Cisco IP voice media streaming application is correct?
Answer. It should be activated on the node in cluster that support the TFTP service.

7) About D&D of (Barge OR cBarge) question use the answer at P4S, and that is (Barge)==> cannot,does not ,other. (cBarge)==>All , Parties , Allows.

Sorry for the delayed response. I used the Cisco CertifyMe 642-446 v2010-07-31 by Elnus 169q.vce and the Cisco ActualTests 642-446 v2010-05-19 by Jack 164q.vce They had everything in there, nothing new.

I’m using Cisco.CertifyMe.642-446.v2010-07-31.by.Elnus.169q.vce, and I think the answer for the linked picture is wrong.
The VCE says the answer is “SW_CFB_2” when I believe the correct answer is “SW_CFB_3”.
Can anyone confirm? It’s pretty clear on page 399(also on p.400) of the official CIPT1 book that I’m right.

Actually of the answers are wrong. The first conference would use HW_CFB_1, the second would use HW_CFB_2, the third SW_CFB_1, the fourth SW_CFB_2, the fifth SW_CFB_3. At that point all of the conference resources would be used. The sixth phone would hear a re-order tone letting the user know the conference could not be setup due to there not being an available conference resource.

For the exam make sure you know how conference calls are distributed. Such as if HW_CFB_1 had 2 available conferences. The first would go to HW_CFB_1 the second would go to HW_CFB_2 and the third would go to HW_CFB_1.

can i take exam 642-446 ? I have CCNA certification and its expiring shortly. So need to increase the validation.
After taking 642-446 shall i get the 2 year validity as i appeared for the CCVP after CCNA.

expack – yes, passing a CCVP level exam should renew your CCNA. I think they last for 3 years now if I’m not mistaken.

@new2voice. Thank you. I agree that all answers are wrong. The example in the book has HW_CFB_1 having 2 conferences, and therefore the 6th conference uses SW_CFB_3. I assumed the exam was borrowing right out of the book. Either way, you assured me that I understand the principal of the issue, so if the exam question is a little different than the VCE, I’ll still be able to answer it. I take the CIPT1 exam very soon.

I belive the correct answers are A&B, but the VCE says differently.
Can anyone confirm? or want to give their opinion?

D & E are the correct answers for the question as it is worded on the real test. They left our one key word in the VCE that is on the real test. The question on the test reads:

Which two of these accurately describe Cisco Unified Communications Manager Application Users?

or at least that is how it was worded when I sat it a few weeks ago.

I took my CIPT-1 exam today. Got 976/1000. the 164 questions of AT are enough to pass the exam. Btw i think some of the answers in AT are wrong but one can clear d xam easily with the AT dumps(You may not get a 1000). Also go thru the questions which samba has posted above. That will also prove to be beneficial. All d best for all who will b taking their test in the future.:):)

thank you voicetut for all the help and advise on this blog, I have passed my CIPT1 with 895/1000 on 30th, AT V3.2 with 104 questions is still valid, all exam questions appeared from this dump and there were about 3-5 que which are mentioned by samba above. gr8 work guys, keep it up……

I think you should go for QoS as this a bit harder and you get rid of that as Voicetut have good current resource which will help you to pass. I have just passed with good score like othesr.

You should take advantage of Voicetut before anything change.

I have just passed with 941/1000. All AT Q’s are valid apart from Samba mentioned it. Just be careful about the wording because Q and A very much looking same as AT and some others but I have noticed bit different . Also instead of memorizing try to understand that question as well while you study.

Completed my CIPT1 today. Used Self Study Guide, VCE Dumps (164 / 14) and CUCM version 7. The test was more or less a summary of the review questions within the Self Study Guide (however more in depth). You definitely need to KNOW CUCM in order to pass w/o the aid of “practice tests”.

@PeterPan good on you but how are you going to be in a production environment. You can’t resolve faults by checking A, B, C, D etc right?

In the certifyme dump I guess there are 4 wrong questions which I can catch: two question related to which conference MRG IP phone should use and the third question is related to 3rd party SIP phones registered to CUCM, in the dunp answer they said TLS authentication where it’s mentioned in CIPT1 book digest authentication, also there is D&D question qhich talks about VoIP attacks, the first option is answered as loss of intgrity where i bilieve it loss of privacy.

Also there is other D&D question comapring between barge and cbarge which i beilive the answer isn’t right, CertifyMe said breif interruption occurs to parties in barge call and beep tone sent to parties in cbarge, in CIPT1 book it’s mentioned that interruption occured in cbarge non barge.

I passed today, I used the link from Adnan, dumps are still valid.

Passed today with 988, Elnus dump is almost valid n addition to questions mentioned above by Samba but beware of some wrong questions in the dump I have mentioned above as 3 questiones came in the exam, what was really strange that I face one question twice (what’s needed on CUCM server to regsiter 3rd party SIP phone)!!!

@hello voicetut: cvoice exam is part from CCVP and you must take it even you have 640-460, but if you clear cvoice exam before CMexpress (640-460) then you will get CCNA voice certificate and you can continue in CCVP without the need to pass 460-640.

How do I open VCE file? I have loaded VCE file but not sure how can I open it.

If you are trying to open the vce file with an unregistered version of Exam Suite then it will only give you 5 questions. Download a cracked version and you will be fine.
